It's a Good Thing They're Cute...

...my babies, that is. It's a really good thing that they smell so sweet and feel so soft. It's a good thing that they look so peaceful and serene when they are asleep.

And it's an especially good thing that they smile at me now. Because when they look at me with those big, blue eyes I can almost forget...

...that they won't stop screaming.

Because they won't stop. Ever. Someone took my quiet, easy babies and replaced them with screaming, fussy, beet red, gassy babies. I want my babies back.

What cuties! Have you tried Boiron Cocyntal? They are homeopathic colic drops. Also, where did you get the cute candy onesies and pumpkin hats? I love them.

Oh, Heather, deep breath. Remember they go through this stage and it only last a few weeks, and I'm sure you'll get your happy babies back. I would start expressing some BM and putting some probiotics in there and dribble it in with a syringe. You know csection babies don't colonize with good bacteria right and need a little extra help. Plus, you took those antibiotics when you got sick when they were in utero, remember? I would try the Nature's Way Primadophilus and Primadohilus Reuteri. They both come in a powder and I would give them 1/2 teaspoon a day and I would bet you see a reduction in gas within days as their intestines colonize and start digesting better.

Hang in there! I hated these weeks with all of my kids.

I used to say the exactly the same thing to my husband all the time. I don't have twins, but the middle two are just 13 months apart and there were many times when they were both hollering at the same time, both diapers needed changing ...

They are TOO cute. Worth the noise!

Take Care,

Kim

Would it make you feel better to hear Ben not only started crawling quite proficiently this week but is climbing now as well? Has fallen off the bed twice and is being banished to the crib before he breaks his neck. Teehee.

Probably not. Screaming babies are not my fave. ;)

Reflux?? When Zack got reflux he went from this happy go lucky kid to this SCREAMING demon child. And then I got him reflux medicine... and then my sweet baby came back and I ceased wanting to give him away!! :-)
