Zzzzzzzzz...

Zzzzzzzzz....
I've been catching up on some much needed (and still interrupted) sleep. My sister-in-law and I hit the Black Friday sales and were up at 3am yesterday. That was following a late night the day before so I was going on 3 hours of sleep. Today, I almost feel human. That was my first and last Black Friday. Shopping online is just so much more my style!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by friends and family! We had a great day that included a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, catching up with family we don't get to see, and eating entirely too much. Love it. Jason was noticeably absent but we talked throughout the day so he wasn't too lonely out there in Seattle by himself. He was bored so he rode a ferry for the first time and had dinner in the chow hall.

Today my mission is to find a Christmas tree. All of the kids want to help so this should be exciting!

You know, I think often about how hard this must be on you, but I rarely think about how it must be affecting him. I'm sad to think about him alone on the holidays and I'm SO glad he's coming home to be with his babies for Christmas. :)

I'm glad you were able to get some sleep - I'm more of an online gal too - I didn't go out this year at all.

this is unrelated to your post but something i thought of, have you ever heard that 4under3's twins Nora & Hazel sort of like Leila & Sarah but the resemblance is uncanny in her header photo . . . just something i noticed.
