This kid was 7 years in the making. It's taken a long time to get to this place... a place where Matthew is a confident, mostly happy, talkative kid. It's been a rough road with this boy who has been very challenging for us. And now, here we are, 7 years since we started this crazy journey of parenthood.

Matthew turned 7 while we were in Florida and hit a few milestones there too. (More on that later!) I am so proud of my son right now. I am proud that Jason and I have survived 7 years of parenting. And that I've survived almost 8 years of non-stop nursing and pregnancy. Wow. I have a 7-year old?!
