i am so a outloud thinker. so yesturday when i found out Rob is deploying in 4 weeks i went to the garage and thought out loud and screamed. we have been here 4 weeks and in the house 2 weeks. household 6 diva, i agree in about a week i will be able to breathe again and may even forget he is deploying. but for today i am in the holy crap phrase, how in the world will i do another (7th) deployment in a community where i know no onw

We have had our house in GA on the market for close to 6 months with a whopping 2 showings. Price is right, just no one looking. I know ours is mostly based on the deployment. When the guys leave, there is no one looking, and then it takes off. I'm impatient, thought, and want it off of my hands already.

Timing! I love reading your blog and my uscg hubby just got word that we are moving to D.C. this summer. I would have loved playing with you and your kids. (I have 4 little ones) We are hoping and praying our house in New Orleans sells before we move! We are looking to be renters in VA- Too bad we have a few more months to go before movers come our way you could get renters via your blog! :) God does everything for His glory... sometimes it seems so hard on us, but He has a plan. Who know what sorts of blessings you will enjoy by moving "home" and what sorts of disasters you may avoid back in VA.

I'm a talker-processor, as well. Gotta talk (or write) things out in order to process them.

Our house has been on the market for 6 months, and we've only had 1 showing. :( If it doesn't sell in the next few weeks, I am going to have to move back to the old house with my 4 youngest kids, and leave my hubby living in a camping trailer with my 2 teens. So. Not. Fun.

Can't wait until you get up here to WA. :)

I know how you feel. I've been the one deploying before...I knew I wouldn't be able to handle the stress of being so far away from my kids so I separated. Now...I have twins and my husband is the one that goes.

Just keep your head up...you're obviously a strong Mother...your beautiful family is evidence of that.

I have discovered it takes me about a week to ride the wave of emotions when there's a big change or stress...

instant fear and apprehension... HOLY CRAP!!! I can't...

leads to anger...
I'm NOT going to do IT!...

leads to understanding....
Ok I guess I'll get it done...

leads to empowerment...
I CAN do it! And I WILL!! :)
