My husband lifts one kid up for the Angel too. This year they were agruing about it so he lifted them up one at a time from youngest to oldest. [SIGH]

Your spider stories make me laugh. You like snakes and mice, but hate spiders? And ... you're one of the most crazy and courageous moms I know, but you hate spiders? Too funny!

Love the ... "let's paint the house" because we stuck inside and don't know what to do. I can't WAIT to have a house to paint. Living in a borrowed house (with all of their furniture and decorations) gets a bit old. Can't wait to have a place of my own to decorate.

Snow ... we can't wait until we get some snow out on our little island. Fun!

I feel the same way about painting, now that I am planning to live in the same place for a while I am afriad that ocassionally my kids are going to wake up and have a new wall color. I am not brave enough to paint with them around. :)

Living in N. Virginia as well it was nice to finally see some snow instead of the rain and my children LOVED it.

I completely understand the fear, mine is of snakes however and if I see one I am ready to sell, move whatever.

I love your new paint and it looks like you have a beautiful home. I love all the toys and how you have them arranged downstairs, even if they do not stay that way for long!!

Cool tradition about the star and what a fun surprise your kids are going to get seeing Daddy!!

One more thing that is awesome about the film screening you attended. I also wished I would have had uncomplicated, non-highrisk pregnancies so that I could have delivered at home.
